"Trumperie" is a self-portrait series born from my personal experience as an immigrant, particularly following the denial I faced when attempting to enter Canada in 2017. This series delves into the emotional and socio-political struggles of displacement, rejection, and migration. Printed on delicate rice paper, the photographs are hand-stamped with custom-designed stamps reading “Denied,” “Deported,” and “Rejected.”
